David Parr, and PFC Jacob Spann during a sevice held by Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 2nd Marines, the ground combat element of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq Feb. 18, 2006. The three Charlie Company Marines were killed conducting counterinsurgency operations in Iraq's Al Anbar province." - 22nd MEU Operation/Exercise/Event: Operation Iraqi Freedom

I saw these photos at [link] and I was motivated. I am a United States Marine and I am proud. I get angry, upset, sad, whatever when I see or read stories like this. I'm sure not everyone is behind the situation in Iraq and Afghanistan but it's what I believe in and that's all that matters I guess. Everyone is open to their own opinion and this is mine. |
